Cosplay Contest

- There is a maximum of 30 participants. If you submit your registration form after this limit has been reached, we may not be able to accommodate you.
- You may choose to compete in craftsmanship, showmanship, or both, but everyone only gets up to 3 minutes on stage. There are awards available in both categories, but you may only win once.
- Craftsmanship and Showmanship entries will be graded with different criteria.
- Please make sure your cosplay aligns with Brook Con's Cosplay Guidelines.
- You are expected to be at the auditorium for the cosplay contest 15 minutes before start time so event coordinators can explain how the contest will work and to line up for the contest.
- YOU MUST HAVE VALID ADMISSION TO BROOK CON TO PARTICIPATE IN THE COSPLAY CONTEST. REGISTERING FOR THE COSPLAY CONTEST DOES NOT COME WITH ADMISSION. PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU WILL HAVE A VALID TICKET FOR BROOK CON.
GUIDELINES
- Craftsmanship entries are expected to have a minimum of 50% of their cosplay be handmade, or 75% handmade, thrifted, and/or modified. Please do NOT enter a cosplay that has previously won an award for cosplay craftsmanship. You will be judged on your accuracy, uniqueness, mastery of skill, and neatness.
- Showmanship entries can be bought. You'll be expected to incorporate some kind of performance-style presentation on stage, even if it's just a few poses. You will be judged on your confidence and presentation.
- Groups of up to 4 people may come on stage together but all contestants will be judged individually. If you want to participate as a group, please email [email protected]. All contestants are required to submit their own registration form.
Cosplay Showcase
The showcase will take place during the Cosplay Contest during the judging intermission. Please review the following rules and guidelines before submitting your registration form.

- You may not participate in the showcase if you are a competitor.
- Please make sure your cosplay aligns with Brook-Con's Cosplay Guidelines.
- You are expected to be at the auditorium for the cosplay contest 15 minutes before start time so event coordinators can explain how the showcase will work and to line up for the show.

- This is the registration form for cosplay exhibitors. You will NOT be eligible for awards.
GUIDELINES
- You may participate as a group, but all participants are required to submit their own registration form. If you want to participate as a group, please email [email protected]. There is a limit of up to 10 people per group.
